The songs have a sense of past, future, and present, using imagery that is both timeless and present. Between Time arrives deep in a renaissance period for Louw while embracing a present teeming with uncertainty and opportunity. Some of that uncertainty stems from a lingering sense of unease generated by living through a pandemic, a period of forced reflection that couldn't help but generate new insights about the Earth and us.
